Francesco Del Conte (1988, Milano) lives and works in Turin. He achieved a bachelor's degree in graphic design and printmaking at the Albertina Academy of fine Arts in Turin. He moved to Belgium in 2013 to study at the LUCA School of Art in Brussels, where he graduated with a master's degree in fine Arts under the photography department. His dissertation focused on the contemporary use of analogue photography and since then he has worked exclusively with photographic film. In 2016 he has been invited by the Centre for Contemporary Art CCA Kitakyushu to attend a fellowship program in Japan. This experience turned out to be very important to his research, increasingly focused on subjects characterized by formal, scientific and cultural interests. Since 2018 his work is represented by Heillandi, a gallery specialized in photography based in Lugano.
His projects are part of public and private collections and have been exhibited internationally.
